Job Title:
Press Brake Operator We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating Bystronic and Exact Smart Press Brake machines.
As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for performing setups, reviewing takeoffs, ensuring accurate form compensation, performing calculations, spin deductions, and reading blueprints.
Attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to quality are essential for success in this role.
Key
Responsibilities:
Machine Operation:
Operate Bystronic and Exact Smart Press Brake machines efficiently and safely to bend metal sheets according to specifications.
Setup and Adjustment:
Perform machine setups, including selecting and installing appropriate tooling, adjusting settings, and programming the machine for specific jobs.
Form Compensation:
Ensure accurate form compensation by carefully reviewing takeoffs and adjusting machine settings as necessary to achieve precise bends.
Calculations:
Utilize mathematical calculations to determine bend allowances, angles, and dimensions required for each job.
Spin Deductions:
Apply spin deductions accurately to account for material thickness and bending radius, ensuring the final product meets quality standards.
Blueprint Reading:
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand project requirements and dimensions.
Quality Control:
Conduct thorough inspections of finished parts to verify accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Perform routine maintenance tasks on press brake equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs.
Troubleshoot issues that arise during operation and make adjustments as needed.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating Bystronic and Exact Smart Press Brake machines.
- Proficiency in machine setup, adjustment, and programming.
- Strong mathematical skills for performing calculations and interpreting blueprints.
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude.
- Prior experience in metal fabrication or related industries is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in machining or metalworking is a plus.
