The dispatch supervisor is responsible for leading a team of call takers and dispatchers for the assigned shift.
In addition to taking and dispatching calls themselves, the supervisor is the problem-solving resource for the on-duty communications team.
The supervisor is also responsible for teaching and coaching, and ensuring compliance to policies and procedures for the assigned shift and staff.
Based in Forney, Texas, Medical Jets EMS provides 9-1-1, interfacility transport and special event standby services to the surrounding communities.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 9-1-1 Communiucations, call taking and dispatching experience required Current EMD certification required Licenses and Certifications Required (must be current and in good standing):
Valid Driver's License EMD Certification CPR/BLS Schedule:
