The operator will work to ensure the machine is performing at full capacity and will oversee the machine maintenance and timely quality checks.
The operator will work within a team construct and will direct crew members to ensure optimal output.
Self-starter and works well within a team environment Good understanding of production procedures and best practices Keen Attention to detail Good physical stamina Welcomes continuous improvement opportunities Seeks opportunities to learn a variety of machinery on the job Willing to undergo additional training as needed and to ask for assistance Monitor and control the machine performance and settings for make-ready and run within specified timeframe Proficient to run machinery at standard speeds and to improve efficiency when possible Program machine consoles with makeready, run and waste data Ability to trouble-shoot machine issues and communicate to management as needed Calibrate machinery Maintain of log of activity using the Amtech PDE module Strong ability to use measurement tools Ability to read manuals and handbooks in order to work with technicians as needed Ability to perform mathematical calculations Understand job ticket information and communication both written and verbal relevant to item in production; communicate to crew as neede Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines Perform quality inspections at makeready to ensure output meets required standard for form, fit and function of the item and meets stated specifications.
Perform quality inspections throughout the run of each order as directed by the QMS policy.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
